| So
this is the bit where i'll try to explain why pianos should be
taken to the street. First of all the answer to the frequently
asked question: couldn't you bring a keyboard? This question often
comes along with the comment: should have learned a smaller instrument...
So why go through the hassle of loading a piano twice daily into
weather exposed circumstances? I think music is a thing that makes
people happy and widens their horizons. But not everybody has
the means or possibilities to go to pubs or concert halls where
music is played. So it is very important to bring
music to everybody, and I particularly like the randomness of
the situation.
Someone coming home from work or a shopper, a toddler waddling
by or
a homeless person, businessman, housewife, anybody and everybody,
gets
the chance to cheer up and think of something else they didn't
expect.
And nobody has to pay but everybody can. The contribution will
be given
directly according to the response of the audience.
What else shall I say? I really want to thank some friends. ->
