Traquair Fair is a yearly event, taking place in August at Traquair House near Inverleithen, a few miles from Peebles.

It is a two day family event with a variety of entertainment and food and drink catered for. I have been playing there for the last few years after being a regular visitor for quite a few years before. The athmosphere can't be compared to any other festival and the beautiful setting and friendliness of the place is absolutely unique.

For traquair Lady Veronique emerges from a past time to delight old and young with Ragtime and Stride. As she places her piano next to the maze behind the house it may take visitors a while to discover her. But once found they can take a seat along the wall and listen piano melodies while watching their children get lost in the maze of Traquair.
